How long is your membership commitment?
All memberships are a 3 month commitment to start, billed monthly. After the 3 months, your membership automatically moves to month to month and you can cancel anytime by providing 30 days notice.
How long is your waitlist?
Our waitlist varies between stores and also by product category. In some locations, you may be accepted in as little as 1-2 weeks, in other locations, acceptance may take up to a few months. For more information, please read our blog post here.
Do you have more photos and examples of displays?

Does Makers charge tax on customer purchases on behalf of vendors?
We do not charge tax on behalf of our vendors. If you meet the HST/PST or GST thresholds, it would be the vendor’s responsibility to back the amount owing out of the price of goods and to pay that directly to the CRA.
If I sell my products at Makers, am I allowed to sell at other stores or online?
We support you and your business, so we encourage you to sell at other stores, do markets, sell online and feature your products wherever you like!
When am I allowed to restock my items?
Typically, restocking hours are M-F anytime during store hours (minimum 1 hour arrival before close) and Sunday mornings before 12pm. Individual stores may have different restocking times and requirements and this information will be provided to you during your onboarding process.
Do you allow vendors from out-of-province to apply to your stores?
Yes! Although preference is given to the vendors who are based in the same province as the store, we do allow for out-of-province vendors if we have the availability, and especially if you make a super unique product that we’re in search of!
What type of packaging do you offer for customers?
We offer basic packaging supplies; paper bags, tissue paper and at some locations, small jewelry bags and boxes. If you would like to bring in your own branded packaging for your customer’s purchases, we encourage you to do so!
