Makers is expanding to the Okanagan: New Store Opening at Orchard Park Shopping Centre

We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Makers' newest store at Orchard Park Shopping Centre in Kelowna on April 3rd! This marks our first location in the Okanagan and our 10th store in British Columbia, reflecting our commitment to supporting local artisans across the province.

Orchard Park Shopping Centre is the largest mall in the Okanagan region, boasting over 170 shops and services. Strategically located on Harvey Avenue (Highway 97), it serves as the primary shopping destination for the entire Okanagan Valley and neighboring regions, including the Thompson-Nicola, Columbia Shuswap, and Kootenay areas. With its vast retail space, Orchard Park attracts a significant number of shoppers daily, making it an ideal location for our newest store.

New to Makers? Here’s How We Work!

At Makers, we provide a space for artisans to showcase and sell their handmade goods & products. Vendors pay a flat monthly membership fee based on display size and in turn keep 100% of their sales—no fees or commissions, ever. Our marketplace technology enables vendors to manage inventory, track orders and sales, and receive payments via direct deposit twice a month. With various display sizes available, artisans can choose the best way to present their products, all while keeping complete creative control over their brand image.
